The ICT Service Unit has the task to develop the information and communications technology of the Department and to assist and advise the facilities of the Department in its application.

The specialists of the Support Network for Workplace Computers in Spatial Planning (BENRAUM) assist and advise computer users of the Chairs of the Department and the Institute of Spatial Planning in issues of purchase, installation and software of workplace computers. The ICT Service Unit is responsible for the Internet, mail and pool servers of the Department, informs about new organisational and technical regulations and information and training opportunities and provides freeware and shareware software for downloading.
