Notes:

NAME, POPULATION, X-COORD and Y-COORD give general information for each city.

COUNTRY represents the 2-digit ISO country code of the country in which the city is located. POP_AGG gives the total population of the agglomeration area, in which a city is located. If a city is not part of an agglomeration, POPULATION and POP_AGG will have the same values.

NUTS3_CODE gives the NUTS-3 region codes as defined by Eurostat, whereas NUTS3-POPUL represents the total population of the NUTS-3 region, to which the city belongs.

All population figures are given for 1998.
