EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) Test Centre NRW GmbH
The EMC Test GmbH is part of the Dortmund Technology Centre - one of Germany's leading address technologically as well as architecturally. With its comprehensive advisory, testing and certification services, it is one of the highlights of the Dortmund Technology Centre. It has for example one of the biggest anechoic chambers in Europe. In this chamber, nine metres in height, 2.5 metres long noninflammable pyramids absorb the electromagnetic radiation. Complete locomotives fit comfortably into this impressive space. Makers of cars, buses and trucks make use of this technical potential.
German Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition (DASA)
The German Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition is a place to give you information about the world of work and its importance in society. You will find out how the future will look in view of the changes taking place in the world of work.
The DASA cannot be compared to a traditional museum of technology or a science centre. Using communication methods which address both the intellect, the feelings and indeed all the senses, the DASA presents topics and issues from the world of work in scenic situations, in settings depicting activity in various branches of industry. This permanent exhibition is divided into theme sections. It is flanked by various art and special exhibitions.
