Abstract:

Between November 2006 and March 2007 SRP developed a computer-based management tool for a sustainable municipal land use management system for the Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The project complements the LAG-21 e.V.-project “Land use management as a participatory process of sustainable urban development”. The software simplifies public authority’s land use management by structuring required work steps, providing relevant data and documents, gathering and analyzing essential indicators and by simplifying of communication processes and the mutual exchange of knowledge.
